Hi all! I am still getting used to my hours shifting with my son's new bus schedule, but I will be on as much as I can.
I updated the banner to include a bit of holiday art. I may troll for some better pieces later in the week.
There is one thing that I have wanted to do since we opened ages ago--a holiday-centered "time out" for the board. It will be a set of threads that I will start (I hope) later this week. We will still be working on the main threads already going on, but this will open things up a bit for things we have not been able to do so far--celebrate the holidays in the Marvel tradition! The threads will run until New Year's Day.
Anyone can be posted in the threads because they are independent of the current plot. Think of them as a "holiday time pocket" and a gift to the board.
And yes, St. Nick will be there...

I saw the new banner. I really like the Wolverine and Spider-man picture.

So does my husband! He is not a big Marvel fan, but he always gets a kick out of that picture.

So the threads will be Christmas mini RPG's? Christmas parties and stuff like that?
Hmmm. Christmas time at this RPG should be interesting, since James Hook really does loathe Christmas in canon. His brother was part of the reason why.

Yes, it will be a mini-party/celebration of the season. I was thinking back to some of the first X-Men books I read in late 2000 after the movie came out, and I remembered this scene from Rockefeller Center: That has been my inspiration!

Since my schedule got zapped again, I'm extending the end date on the holiday threads until Jan. 15. Since this is more winter scene than the actual celebration of any holiday, I think it will work for our purposes.

Until January 15 sounds good to me.
